Fears of Hike in Petrol Price allayed by the Federal Government

We confess, we didn't even hear the purported/alleged intention, plan or desire by our wonderful Federal Government to increase the pump price of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS...no not pre-menstrual strain/stress) aka Petrol from it's current price of N97 per litre.

Nonetheless, according to Punch online, the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Petroleum Resources has come out to strongly dismiss the fears of an impending hike in luxury liquid, amid mounting fears in some quarters. The gentleman said, We would like to appeal to oil marketers to refrain from hoarding of petroleum products and the general public from panic buying in anticipation of any increase in pump price"

Colorado State, USA Legalizes Weed/Marijuana/Pot!!!

I never thought this day would come o!!!

Time to book me a Colorado Holiday. So, as of 1st January 2014, Colorado opened America's first legalised marijuana shops selling to members of the public. Reports have it that as many as 20 shops opened for business with many experiencing long queues for the good stuff (pot heads plenty for that place o)

First it was Uruguay that legalized it, though still yet to set up a regulatory framework for it. However these guys in Colorado mean business. Regulation is in place and shall be funded from taxes on retail sales, whilst taxes from wholesale transaction shall be used to finance construction of schools. WAIT!!! WHAT!!! Potheads shall indirectly help build schools!!! I'm already getting high on this.

Shoprite Launches Escalator Ride for Ibadan Kids

Now this was stolen from Aunty Linda. (Aunty we hail u o!) But her take on the issue was too light.

Insta-Bitch was there live and direct (big lie) and has a different account of things. Haba, as there's no amusement park, Shoprite launched a charity ride for the unexposed children of Ibadan. After a while, those shifty South Africans started charging a fee. Imagine!!! N20 per ride.

Lo and behold, those pikins started backing themselves. Naija no dey carry last. Na 2 for 1 ride...SHIOR!!!

Back to Humpty Dumpty....the Snitch may not have been present at the ceremony (we returned the VIP pass as it didn't come with a chauffeur driven Rolls Royce like Chris Okotie's...blogging ain't for free bitches!!!). Apologies for digressing, we hear OFP has returned to APC after 40months (days and Nights) of political wilderness gallivanting from AC/ACN to Labour to PDP and now to APC. He has definitely been welcomed back into the fold as the engagement ceremony was packed with political associates

..Oh yeah, We hear a couple of months ago he approached Tinubu, using as a mediator, a revered Lagos Blue Blood (we have only kind words for his revered Royal Majesty).

Our first ever post is the Grandiose wedding of the stunning Yewande Akinfemiwa, first child and daughter of the former Managing Director of Skye Bank and current Chairman of Heritage Bank Chief Akinfemiwa, to her long long...LONGGGGG time boyfriend, Korede Fadojutimi. (these two dated for like 8years or so...) The wedding was held in South Africa. Insta-Bitch was there in SPIRIT despite being invited (na like that plane ticket easy. SHIOR) More pics here
